About this policy
NBA Krillion is an independent browser-based basketball trivia game at nbakrillion.com. It is inspired by the long-shot trivia format and is not affiliated with the NBA or the creators of the original Long Shot game.
You can play without creating an account. NBA Krillion does not ask you to submit a name, email address, password, or payment information to play.
Gameplay and browser storage
Game prompts and answer matching run in your browser using the site's question library. The game saves progress on your device when browser storage is available. This can include an in-progress round, accepted player answers, scores, completed results, the daily streak date and count, recently opened unlimited game IDs, and your sound preference.
Daily and unlimited progress are stored separately. The game keeps the 100 most recently opened unlimited IDs in its browser history and removes saved progress for older IDs from that history. A game ID in a shared URL lets another player open the same prompts; it does not identify a player.
Game records stay in this browser. NBA Krillion does not have player accounts, a shared player profile, or a global leaderboard. Clearing this site's stored data in your browser removes locally saved progress and preferences.
Names submitted as accepted answers may appear in a saved result on your device. Unaccepted guesses are not added to the saved game record. The game does not send typed answers or scores to an NBA Krillion player database.
Analytics and cookies
NBA Krillion uses Google Analytics to measure site visits and understand how the game is used. The Google tag may process information such as pages and URLs visited, browser and device details, referral information, and interaction timing. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies and may receive an IP address to provide its services; Google may derive an approximate location from it.
Google processes analytics information under its own policies and settings. Read Google's Privacy Policy and Google's information about Analytics data and privacy. You can also use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or manage cookies in your browser.
Hosting and advertising
The website is delivered through its hosting and content-delivery providers. As with other websites, providers may process technical request information, such as the requested page, time of request, browser details, and network address, to deliver and protect the service. Their own policies govern their processing and retention.
The site currently includes an ads.txt seller authorization file, but the game page does not load a third-party advertising script. If advertising or another data-collection service is added, this policy will be updated to describe it.
Your choices and data requests
- Clear NBA Krillion's site data in your browser to remove locally saved game progress, streak information, game history, and sound preference.
- Use browser privacy controls to block or delete cookies and limit analytics technologies. Some browser settings may affect site features.
- Use Google's privacy settings or the Analytics opt-out add-on for choices related to Google Analytics.
- Choose whether to use Copy Result and where to share the copied text.
Privacy rights depend on where you live. The game has no account database or privacy-request form, so locally saved game records can be managed directly in your browser. Google-related data choices are available through the Google tools linked above.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if the game or its service providers change. The date at the top indicates when this page was last revised. The current version will be available at nbakrillion.com/privacy.
